The "What" Behind Our Mission
CAYA currently offers the following services:
Food Pantry: Our pantry is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 am – 12:30 pm. Each family may receive food assistance one time per month.
Emergency Food Assistance: For those who are unable to come to our office, groceries may be able to be delivered to homes (dependent on location and staff availability).
Financial Assistance: When funds are available, we can help provide assistance with a portion of rent and/or utility bills.
Financial Counseling: Both the materially poor and the materially non-poor struggle with healthy stewardship of their financial resources. It is our goal to help people become good stewards of all that God has given to them.
Holiday Meals: We provide complete meal bags for families to be able to cook their own holiday meals in their own home for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Summer Lunch Program: We prepare and deliver sack lunches to children who would normally receive a free or reduced price lunch during the school year.
